I haven’t used it a ton yet, so take this for what it’s worth, but so far my eggs haven’t stuck at all. They slid right out, which was nice.

"Heat was uneven and I had to chase them up"
The heat just wasn’t even at all. I kept getting hot spots, so the food cooked unevenly and it got frustrating. I also had to chase them to get any sort of response about it, which made the whole experience even more annoying.

"Honestly, this skillet kind of does it all, right?"
I’ve been using my Field skillet for pretty much everything lately, eggs, steak, even baking, and it’s been so handy. Maybe I’m just impressed because it’s become my go-to pan, but it really does feel like one of those kitchen things you end up reaching for constantly

"Good pan, but what’s with the handle??"
I actually like this pan overall, but the handle feels a little awkward sometimes?? It works fine for cooking, just wish it was a bit more comfortable to hold.
"Really smooth pan, cooks great"
I picked up a Field pan a few weeks back, and yeah, the cooking surface is noticeably smoother than my older cast iron. Eggs still want a little butter or oil, but once the pan is heated up they move around nicely, which was kind of... exactly what I was hoping for.
I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because it took a couple cooks for me to get the feel of it, and it’s definitely not a cheap pan. Still, the finish feels really nice, cleanup has been easy so far, and I keep reaching for it, so..

"I really wanted to love my Field pan..."
I really wanted to love my Field pan, there are things I like about it. It feels nice, looks great, heats well, all that. But the seasoning has been kind of a headache. I followed the care instructions, dried it right away, used oil, avoided soaking it, tried cooking easier stuff like eggs, potatoes, bacon, grilled cheese, even just sautéed onions, and it still kept getting patchy after a few uses. Some spots would look fine, then other spots would get dull or sticky-looking, and food stuck more than I expected. Pancakes stuck, eggs stuck, little bits of vegetables stuck, pretty much enough to make cleanup annoying. It’s a nice pan overall, but for me it just hasn’t been as low-maintenance or dependable as I hoped

"I was a little worried this was going..."
I was a little worried this was going to be one of those things that sounds better than it actually is, but it really did clean up easily after dinner. No scrubbing, no fighting with stuck-on food, just wiped it down and moved on. Happy I didn’t get fooled on this one.

"Feels like money well spent"
I paid a little more upfront than I originally planned, but it feels worth it so far. It just seems better made, and I have a feeling the cheaper option probably wouldn’t have held up as well.

"Looks nice at first... but kinda plain"
At first I was like, wow, this looks really clean and put together. The design is nice overall and easy on the eyes. But after looking at it a bit more, I don't know, it started feeling a little too plain for me.

"I was excited about this..."
I was excited about this pan at first, but after only a few months it started warping and doesn’t sit flat anymore. Definitely disappointing. Also, I’m not totally sure if I missed something, but the overall cost felt a bit higher than expected by the time everything was done, which makes me wonder if there were some extra fees tucked in somewhere.

"Too light, and the timing made it worse"
I picked up a Field pan because I wanted something lighter and easier to deal with, and technically it is. But it ended up being a little too light for me. I tried using it right when I was rushing to get dinner done, which was probably the worst timing, because it kept shifting around more than I expected.
It just doesn’t feel as steady on my stove as I’d like, and that got annoying fast. Maybe some people love how lightweight it is, but for me it made cooking feel more fussy, especially when I really didn’t have time to mess around with a pan that wouldn’t stay put.
